(Battle Creek, MI) The Midwest Compact Touring Series is saddened to announce the postponement of the Gingerman Race on October 17th, 2020. With the restrictions from the executive orders of Gretchen Whitmer it hasn’t allowed us to hold any events to date in the state of Michigan on asphalt.
“We have been waiting as long as we could in hoping to get at least one enduro in before Gingerman,” stated Micheal Wood, Midwest Compact Touring Series owner. “Without being able to build a base of cars for this event we feel it’s best to wait until 2021.”
The event will be rescheduled for October 16, 2021 at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, MI. The event will feature a two hour enduro, Midwest Compact Touring Series, and we may look at adding a stock car class for 2021.
Please visit our website at www.midwestcompacts.com for upcoming information on the remainder of the 2020 season. The next event for the touring series will be the Dash Series event at Golden Sands Speedway in Plover, Wisconsin on August 7th and 8th.
