Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, MI:
(Three Rivers, MI) The Midwest Compact Touring Series will be making history on Saturday, October 19th, at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, MI. This will mark the first time in twenty years that stock cars have returned to 1.8 mile road course. There will be two classes competing on the afternoon with the Open 4cyl Division and Endurance Race.
The Open 4cyl division will be made up of cars from the Midwest Dash Series, Midwest Compacts Touring Series, Vores Compact Touring Series, Galesburg Speedway, Springport Speedway, Berlin Raceway, South Bend Speedway, Hartford Speedway, Thunderbird Raceway, Springport Speedway, and ect Outlaw FWD classes. The A Main will pay $500 to win and $100 to start. The B Main will pay $150 to win and $50 to start. There will be a $25 entry fee and pit pass.
The two hour Endurance Race will feature a payout based on car count. The field will be capped at 80 cars for a $4000 to win race with a $100 entry fee. The will be a 100% payback of the entry fee which includes a pit pass. The payout is broke down based on car count on the payoff sheet which can be down loaded below. The Endurance Rules our on our website under the rules and forms. The Galesburg Speedway, Kalamazoo Speedway Zoo Stocks, South Bend Motor Speedway Hornets, and ect should be legal for this event. All disabled cars will be removed from the race track and no rough driving will be tolerated.
The gates will open at 9:30AM, Tech will open at 10AM, Practice at 11:45AM, and racing starts at 1:00PM. Pit passes are $40 and General Admission is $15 for this event. Please contact 312-722-4433 for any information on the event.
